Who we are
Karaoke Vinyl (“we”, “us”) is operated by KaraokeVinyl, and runs a mobile recording booth that records your performance and cuts it to a vinyl record at your event. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
When you send a booking request through this website, we collect the details you type into the form:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your event type, date, venue and location.
- Approximate guest numbers, hours required and the package you're interested in.
- Anything you write in the notes field.
- Confirmation that you agreed to the session terms and these policies.
At the event itself, we also handle:
- Audio recordings of your performance, including the mixed master and the take cut to vinyl.
- Photographs taken in or around the booth, where you ask for a photo on your record sleeve.
- The song you chose, so we can prepare the karaoke and instrumental versions.
Why we hold it
- To answer your booking request and agree the details of your event.
- To carry out the booking — preparing your song, recording, mixing, cutting the record and printing the sleeve.
- To send you the digital copy of your recording after the event.
- To keep our own records of bookings and payments, as any business must.
Your recordings and photos
Your recording is yours. We do not publish, share or use your audio or booth photographs in our marketing unless you have separately and clearly agreed to it — asking you on the night, or in writing. Agreeing to this policy is not agreement to be featured.
We keep the master recording for 90 days after your event so we can re-send or re-cut it if something goes wrong, then delete it. Tell us sooner and we'll delete it sooner.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to understand how people find and use this site, so we can improve it. These are set by Google Analytics and record things like which pages you viewed, roughly which region you are in, and what kind of device you used.
We do not use cookies to advertise to you, and we do not sell what they collect. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works without them.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email support@karaokevinyl.com and we’ll respond within 30 days, the period Canadian privacy law allows.
