What to expect

A booth session has real limits, and we'd rather you know them now than on the night.

Each session runs 20 minutes from stepping in to walking out with the record.
Your song must be under 4 minutes. Longer tracks won't fit the side of a 7-inch.
Up to 5 punch-in edits or retakes per session, so there's time to press the record.
Up to 2 singers on a single track.
A lathe-cut record won't sound identical to the digital master. Cutting to vinyl in real time adds a little surface noise and softens the very top end — that's the character of the format, not a fault with your take. You get the clean digital copy too.
